dunia putri - putri's world

According to Oxford Dictonary, woman means an adult female human being. While girl is a noun of a young woman. The film tried to tell the audience about four stories of three women (story one, three, and four) and a girl (story two).

another GREAT JOB of Nia Dinata and friends, U go girl

Story one: A midwife (Rieke D. Pitaloka) accused of a misuse abortion even though she persisted in her stand that she just gave a help to the patient. Mean while, a grand daughter of a lonely granny was raped. The midwife also persisted that the rapists had to be punished. But what to say, the apology of the lonely granny was given and due to money. In the other word, the rapists said sorry with money.
My personal question is : What is abortion (in the definition of both right and wrong)?
Story two: A free life style of a Yogyakarta teenagers (i forgot who took the role in this part).
My point of view: It is everyone's right to have his and her own freedom of life. But I'm sure the correct freedom is a freedom with responsibility.
Story three: A widow (Shanty) had a daughter (forgot again, sorry...). She lost her and it was caused by her friend's indecency. Sarah Sechan took role as that friend, and she played very well as one of A Dangdut (a music genre in Indonesia) Trio named Dag Dig Dhuer (in my oppinion).
My statement: According to my religion, God entrusted a child to human and so it is a huge responsibility to take care of it.
Story four: Another widow (Susan Bahtiar) whom her husband died of HIV/AIDS. The family of his husband kept blaming her. They accused her of his death.
My comment: It is said that a mother will always be a rival of his son's wife.

I conclude that the moral of the story of this film is that women (and also girls) do have stories. Lots of stories. Either in women's point of view or men's view.
